Xiaoqing received her B.S. and M.S degree in Thermal Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China, and Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California. In 2008, she joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley as a postdoctoral researcher. Her research interests include reaction kinetics, chemical kinetic modeling of fuel combustion and soot formation, model optimization and uncertainty qualification.
